Moonkeeper was born out of a love for pets and a commitment to their lifelong happiness. Our founder's experience working in a pet hotel and training school uncovered a heartbreaking reality—the majority of abandoned pets are seniors. Some owners board their senior pets in hotels and never return, citing reasons such as health issues, rising medical costs, behavioral changes, or other unexpected circumstances. Sadly, aging pets are also much harder to rehome compared to their younger counterparts. This experience highlighted the urgent need for specialized care and support for our senior companions, inspiring the creation of Moonkeeper.
